Organic contaminants come from natural or synthetic raw materials depending on whether the problem is related to virgin fibers (pitch) or adhesives and binders from secondary or recycled fibers (stickies).

They can be deposited during the preparation of the stock, in head box, press rolls and other surfaces of the paper machine. Pitch and stickies increase paper breaks, reduce the quality of the final product, and ease the slime deposits.

Kemind has a full range of chemicals that dramatically reduce the adhesive properties of pitch and stickies allowing easy disposal with finished paper or process water.
